Regular Meeting Minutes
President Ann Wrobbel called the Village Council to order at 6:00pm
Pledge to the flag was recited
Roll call: Ann Wrobbel-present, Kim Wernette-present, Melissa Lazzaro-present, Colleen Beemer-present, Alice Ray-absent,
Minutes of Regular Meeting December 5, 2022 were presented
Kim Wernette made a motion seconded by Colleen Beemer to accept minutes, roll call-all ayes, motion passes
Public Comment: None
Ann Wrobbel read the President’s Report: Ann has some calls in for enforcement information, will discuss next month if calls are returned
Kim Wernette made a motion seconded by Colleen to approve all bills, expenses and payroll, roll call-all yeses, motion passes
Kim Wernette made a motion seconded by Colleen Beemer to approve the Rules of Procedure, roll call-all yeses, motion passes
Melissa Lazzaro read the Clerk’s Report: Melissa will do due to’s and equipment rental next month and go over the budget in February.
Kim Wernette read the Treasurer’s report: Kim read the bank balances, Blue Triton will be sending a $2,000 donation for the well installation and removal, should have Courtright’s look at the installation paperwork to see if it can be open year around.
Ann Wrobbel made a motion seconded by Colleen Beemer to accept the Treasurers report and the Clerks report, roll call-all yeses, motion passes
John Fribley read the Enforcement Officer Report: Mr. Fribley is slowly making progress, still working with Mr. Prill.
Kim Wernette read the Cemetery Report: Some of the trees have been trimmed, still more to work on, it looks very nice.
Colleen Beemer read Pine Tree Park Report: Colleen is looking into benches, she would like to have the Horse shoe tournaments approved before scheduling so there is no scheduling conflicts.
Bromley Park Report: Nothing new
Alice Ray read Pocket Park and Research & Information report: Alice was absent
Community Activity Report: Kim will have prices on coffee pot and megaphone next month
Mr. Klump made a proposal to the Village for land by the cemetery and the land the Village owns by the Airport. Council will schedule a workshop to discuss options.
Kevin Stevens read the Street Commissioner report: Kevin asked when Council wanted the pole ornaments down, they may have extra wood from the picnic tables to make some benches.
Kim Wernette made a motion seconded by Ann Wrobbel to order 20 hangers for the ornaments, roll call-all yeses, motion passee
Public Comment: A resident asked about starting fines for the Village cutting residents grass like other Villages and Cities do. A Comment was made on Alice’s behavior last month.
Ann Wrobbel made a motion seconded by Kim Wernette to adjourn, roll call-all ayes, motion passes
