Regular Meeting Minutes

President Ann Wrobbel called the Village Council to order at 6:00pm

Pledge to the flag was recited

Roll call: Ann Wrobbel-present, Kim Wernette-present, Melissa Lazzaro-present, Colleen Beemer-present, Alice Ray-absent

Minutes of Regular Meeting November 6, 2023 were presented

Kim Wernette made a motion seconded by Colleen Beemer to accept minutes as written, roll call-all ayes, Alice Ray-absent, motion passes

Public Comment: Jerry thanked John for getting the car on N. Franklin moved for plowing

Ann Wrobbel read the Presidents Report: Nothing this month

Kim Wernette made a motion seconded by Colleen Beemer to approve all bills, expenses and payroll, roll call-all yeses, Alice Ray-absent motion passes

Melissa Lazzaro read the Clerks Report: Nothing this month

Kim Wernette read the Treasurer’s report:  Kim read the bank balances

Ann Wrobbel made a motion seconded by Colleen Beemer to accept the Treasurers Report, roll call-all yeses, Alice Ray-absent, motion passes

John Fribley read the Enforcement Officer Report: Wrote out 3 citations this month, will be having a hearing for 2 of them on December 20th.

Kim Wernette read the Cemetery Report: Nothing for this month

Colleen Beemer read Pine Tree Park Report: Trayer’s had to replace some pipes to meet State guidelines, waiting on another inspection from the Health Department.

Kim Wernette made a motion seconded by Ann Wrobbel to purchase pea stone and pavers using ARPA Funds to use around the Pine Tree Park well if approved by the Health Department, not to exceed $1,000 all yeses, Alice Ray-absent, motion passes

 Bromley Park Report: Nothing at this time

Alice Ray read Pocket Park and Research & Information: Alice was absent

Community Activity Report: Tree lighting was very nice, 45-50 people attended, Fates donated apples, Wes Grahm played guitar, sang carols and led the blessing

Kevin Stevens read the Street Commissioner report: The snowblower was being fixed at Burnips, its ready to be picked up. The plow truck needs more work, the engine overheated, it needs new motor mounts

Kim Wernette made a motion seconded by Ann Wrobbel to fix the plow truck for $8.500, roll call-all yeses, motion passes
