Regular Meeting Minutes
President Ann Wrobbel, called the Village Council to order at 6:00pm
Pledge to the flag was recited
Roll call: Ann Wrobbel-present, Kim Wernette-present, Melissa Lazzaro-present, Colleen Beemer-present, Alice Ray-present (on speaker phone), Kevin Stevens-present, Charles Smith-present

Minutes of Regular Meeting June 2, 2025, were presented
Ann Wrobbel made a motion seconded by Kim Wernette to accept minutes, roll call-all ayes, motion passes
Public Comment: Chris Zimmerman-Commissioners wrapped up the MET Money, the village will receive $1,600 for the salt spreader, they will be contacting their attorney for the Tonkin drain project
Ann Wrobbel read the Presidents Report: Melissa got a quote of $350 for the liquor liability insurance, Kim will look into the price of wristbands, Ann has a quote from Rob Pullman for the roof and front of the old fire barn
Ann Wrobbel made a motion seconded by Kim Wernette to spend up to $500 for liquor insurance, liquor license, and wristbands, roll call-all yeses, motion passes
Ann Wrobbel made a motion seconded by Kim Wernette to approve the quote from Rob Pullman for the roof and front of the building of the old fire barn, roll call-all yeses, motion passes
Kim Wernette made a motion seconded by Ann Wrobbel to pay General Fund bills and payroll with check #11406-11413 & EFTs for $4,454.64, Asset Fund with Check #1675-1678 for $1,088.46, Community Promotion Fund with check #1031-1033 for $642.32, for a total of $2,373.10, roll call-all yeses, motion passes
Melissa Lazzaro read the Clerks Report: nothing this month
Kim Wernette read the Treasurer’s report: Bank balances as of 6/30/2025: General Fund: $26,232.68, Asset Fund: $34,069.26, Banner Fund: $3,533.44, Community Promotion Fund: $6,705.52, ARPA Fund $728.68 Fireworks Fund: $4,512.87, Local Road Fund: $100,698.47, Major Road Fund: $125,863.65
The yard sale brought in $461.68, the dunk tank brought in $218 minus $100 for rental plus the $150 donation by the Klumpps for a total of $729.68 to go into the Fireworks Fund
Ann Wrobbel made a motion seconded by Colleen Beemer to accept the Treasurers Report, roll call-all yeses, motion passes
Ann Wrobbel read the Enforcement Report: District 10 Health Department is still working on 419 N. Webber. He spoke with the property owner’s sister at 298 S Webber, she was told he need to see some effort toward bringing the property into compliance. Sent a letter to the owner of 490 and 510 Webber St. agreeing with his timeline to cleanup and remove all trash and junk from the property. The property is to be in full compliance on or before September 8, 2025. The trailer has been removed from 259 N Franklin St.
Kim Wernette read the Cemetery Report: Kim will be making a Cemetery trash only sign for the dumpster, as people are putting their household trash in it.
Colleen Beemer read Pine Tree Park Report: Horseshoe tournament on the 12th, the baseball field is reserved for July 17th

Alice Ray read Research & Information: Looking for grants for bathroom at Bromley Park
Alice Ray read Pocket Park: Kevin is waiting on Randy to set the cement in Pocket Park for the flagpole
Community Activity Report: 4th of July activities had a good turnout, Bubba turned in a letter of resignation, we will work on getting an ad in the paper Thursday for a replacement
Street Commissioner Report: Would like to get community service workers to work on potholes
