Regular Meeting Minutes
President Ann Wrobbel called the Village Council to order at 6:00pm
Pledge to the flag was recited
Roll call: Ann Wrobbel-present, Kim Wernette-present, Melissa Lazzaro-present, Colleen Beemer-present, Alice Ray-present, Kevin Stevens-present, Charles Smith-present, John Fribley-present
Minutes of Regular Meeting November 4, 2024, were presented
Kim Wernette made a motion seconded by Colleen Beemer to accept minutes as is, roll call-all ayes, motion passes
Public Comment: None
Ann Wrobbel read the Presidents Report: Kim spoke with the DNR about the Motorcross, its ok to do that with the property, Brent needs to give the AMA 3 dates from the Village which will be determined later.
Kim Wernette made a motion seconded by Alice Ray to allow the Motorcross to have three dates at the M-20 property, dates to be determined later, roll call-all yeses, motion passes
Kim Wernette made a motion seconded by Ann Wrobbel to approve all bills, expenses, and payroll, roll call-all yeses, motion passes
Melissa Lazzaro read the Clerks Report: Melissa presented Council with the current budget and asked to make some budget amendments, also informed Council of the new PTO policy from the State beginning in February
Kim Wernette made a motion seconded by Colleen Beemer to allow Melissa to make budget amendments, roll call-all yeses, motion passes
Kim Wernette read the Treasurer’s report: Kim read the bank balances, and presented Council with the check register,
Alice Ray made a motion seconded by Colleen Beemer to accept the Treasurers Report, roll call-all yeses, motion passes
John Fribley read the Ordinance Report: The Village is looking good, sent two letters to 837 Moore St about Chickens, will be sending a citation next week
Kim Wernette read the Cemetery Report: Sold 2 plots to non-residents
Colleen Beemer read Pine Tree Park Report: Nothing at this time
Bromley Park Report: Total cost for Tree Lighting was $290.52, great turn out, 40-60 people, Santa and the Grinch were there, and Wes and Brooke played the guitar and sang. Would like to get gift certificates for them
Ann Wrobbel made a motion seconded by Colleen Beemer to have Kim pick up $25 gift certificates, roll call-all yeses, motion passes
Alice Ray read Research & Information: nothing at this time
Alice Ray read Pocket Park: Bruce will be donating the giving tree this year; Alice would like solar lights on the lamp posts
Community Activity Report: Next activity will be Easter
Ann Wrobbel made a motion seconded by Colleen Beemer to approve the bid of $1,365 for installing security cameras and installing a new back door on the Office, roll call-all yeses, motion passes
Kevin Stevens read the Street Commissioner report: Christmas lights are up, lean-to is finished, he would like to eventually put steel on the west side of it for the wind
Public Comment: Lindsey and Stephanie updated Council on the Class C liquor license progress, there was a mix up with the old Blue Cow license, once that is fixed they will be scheduling an inspection
Kim Wernette made a motion seconded by Colleen Beemer to adjourn, roll call-all ayes, motion passes
